Dangerously close to the real deal

Now for my Thoughts. I feel like we are living in a time that will be put into history books, a time that will have a chapter all to itself. It will have an all encompassing variety that will include the following character: USA, Israel, UK, Japan, Germany, Australia, So Korea, Jordan, Italy, Iraq, India, and oddly Pakistan for now are on the Allies side, and on the other side, Syria, Iran, Al Queda, Hizballah, N Korea, the arab media, the USA/Euro media, and in a non combat but instigative role, China and Russia for personal gain. This is how it lines up and the UN will be useless in stopping this, thus making it a purely humanitarian institution, forever.
The problem here is that terrorism attacks the innocent and non provoking. The main role of the military in all of the Ally countries is to protect the innocent. So if a Terrorist attacks the innocent the natural role of the military must be used to secure the safety of the women, children and elderly. If this is not done then the terrorist will continue these acts, like pirates pillaging the weak of the sea. The UN does not work any longer because the equation that it was set up to fix has changed and added a variable:Organized worldwide fanatic Terrorism. So the outlook for peace is bleak, the need for peace is the greatest it has been since 1945 and the chances for peace are the worst it has been since 1939.
What we have is a new battle in the war on terror, or what may well be the beginning of a new world war. God help us all. But look back at WWI/WWII it took some small incidents to get these going. And it took a lot of countries a while to realize that they could not spend these wars on the sidelines.
So while I pray for peace, I also pray for justice, freedom, liberty and fear from random acts of terror. I support the Israelis push to defend itself from the darkness of terror. Sometimes peace can be bought, sometimes traded, and unfortunately in this case it must be profoundly and violently defended.
